The service was friendly and efficient, and the food came out on time. The food was very good, the portion was generous, the steak was perfect, and all the food was delicious and delicious.

Lovely atmosphere where a large crowd turned up for the rugby. Bar staff are very pleasant and very efficient. Then a nice little buffet appeared! What a treat, just as most were starting to feel peck...

Called in for an evening meal without booking (on a Saturday evening when it was busy) but they managed to find us a table. Very welcoming &amp; good choice of menu, we were given complementary glasses of gazpacho which were delicious. My husband &amp; I had the duck &#39;special&#39; -a perfectly cooked (pink) duck breast in a strawberry &amp; elderflower sauce, delicious veg &amp; potatoes. Our friends had the lamb chops &amp; a rib eye steak -again perfectly cooked &amp; very tender.
